About Upper Freestone

Upper Freestone is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, nestled into the escarpment of the Great Dividing Range approximately 21 kilometres northwest of Warwick. Freestone Creek, which rises on the western side of the Great Dividing Range, flows through the locality as part of the Murray-Darling drainage basin. The area includes sections of the Mount Dumaresq Conservation Park and is characterised by undulating hilly terrain with cleared farmland.
