About Hutton Creek
Hutton Creek is a remote rural locality in the Darling Downs to Maranoa region of Queensland, located about 32.8 kilometres west of Injune and 601 kilometres northwest of Brisbane. The Hutton Creek watercourse rises in the centre and flows east to become a tributary of the Dawson River, with part of the Forrest State Forest in the north. Land use is dominated by grazing on native vegetation. The nearest school is Injune State School offering Prep to Year 10.
