About The Common
The Common is a parkland suburb of Rockhampton, Queensland, on the north side of the city separated from the central business district by the Fitzroy River. Bounded to the east, south and west by the river, it holds recreational facilities and a boat ramp, with the council landfill and sewage plant in the north and marshy, undeveloped land in the east.
