About Berserker
Berserker is a suburb of Rockhampton, Queensland, about 6 km north-east of the central business district, bounded by Frenchmans Creek and Moores Creek. It is named after the Berserker Range, which pioneer pastoralist Charles Archer named after the Norse warrior baresark. The suburb contains the Stockland Rockhampton shopping centre and the heritage-listed Berserker Street State School and North Rockhampton Borough Chambers.
