About Rolleston
Rolleston is a small outback town on the Comet River along the Dawson Highway in the Central Highlands Region, approximately 335 kilometres west of Gladstone. It sits at the heart of the Bowen Basin coal-producing district and serves as a service point for the nearby Rolleston Open Cut coal mine, surrounded by sandstone ranges including the Carnarvon and Expedition Ranges.
