About Coorumbene
Coorumbene is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland, about 13 kilometres south-east of Rolleston and 285 kilometres south-west of Rockhampton. It sits at elevations of 210 to 270 metres where the Comet River enters from the south and the Dawson Highway passes through the area, which is characterised by vast open grazing country.
