About Consuelo
Consuelo is a remote rural locality in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland, located about 546 kilometres from Brisbane and 35 kilometres south of Rolleston. The landscape features Mount Pleasant State Forest and multiple peaks including Mount Sugarloaf, Pinnacle Mountain, and Mount Cerberus, with the Carnarvon Highway entering from the northeast. Predominant land use is grazing on native vegetation with some crop growing, in a setting of rugged Central Queensland bushland.
