About Mungabunda
Mungabunda is a large, sparsely populated rural locality in the Central Highlands Region of Central Queensland. The Dawson Highway passes to the north and the Fitzroy Developmental Road to the east, with the surrounding landscape dominated by pastoral and grazing country, situated south-west of Rockhampton with the nearest services at Bauhinia and Moura.
