About Mount Murchison
Mount Murchison is a rural locality in the Shire of Banana, situated about 9 kilometres north-west of Biloela in central Queensland's Callide Valley. The area is characterised by cattle grazing and cropping, with the Callide Power Station located in the south-east and the Mount Murchison Nature Refuge protecting native flora and fauna.
