About Coorooman

Coorooman is a rural coastal locality in the Livingstone Shire, where the many branches of Cawarral Creek permeate the landscape and form much of its southern and eastern boundaries. Named after a former railway station on the Emu Park branch line, which itself took its name from the creek believed to be an Aboriginal word meaning kangaroo.
