About Bushley
Bushley is a rural locality in the Rockhampton Region of Central Queensland, located about 45 kilometres southwest of Rockhampton and 513 kilometres from Brisbane. The landscape features broad agricultural land within the Fitzroy River catchment, with the Central Western railway line forming the northern boundary. The economy is based on beef cattle, cropping, and mining in the broader region, and the now-abandoned Bushley railway station once served the locality. Nearest towns include Wycarbah, Kalapa, Stanwell, and Westwood.
