About Stockton (Qld)
Stockton is a rural locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Far North Queensland, located approximately 8 kilometres south-south-west of Innisfail. The South Johnstone River bounds the locality on several sides, and the area features sugar cane country in the coastal hinterland near the Wet Tropics region. Innisfail provides services and is known for its Art Deco architecture.
