About South Mission Beach

South Mission Beach is a coastal town and locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Queensland, Australia, located 25.7 kilometres east of Tully. It features 13 kilometres of shared sandy beach on the Coral Sea with Dunk Island lying offshore. The area includes the Kennedy Memorial walking track and was the site of the Hull River Aboriginal Settlement from 1913 to 1918.
