About Shell Pocket

Shell Pocket is a small rural locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Far North Queensland, set in a valley between mountains of the Great Dividing Range. Spring-fed streams feed Big Maria Creek through the area, which is dominated by sugarcane farming. The locality lies within the Wet Tropics bioregion, roughly 20 kilometres from Mission Beach and about 18 kilometres north-east of Tully.
