About Friday Pocket

Friday Pocket is a rural locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Far North Queensland, situated near the Tully River valley. The Walter Hill Range runs through the south-west of the locality, with Mount Myrtle rising to 324 metres. The Bruce Highway and North Coast railway line pass through Smiths Gap on the western boundary. The surrounding area is part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, with sugarcane growing and rural residential use.
