About East Barron
East Barron is a rural locality in the Tablelands Region, situated between Atherton and Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands. The Barron River forms its western boundary as it flows into Lake Tinaroo, and the locality contains the Curtain Fig National Park, home to the famous Curtain Fig Tree.
