About Danbulla
Danbulla is a scenic rural locality on the Atherton Tableland in the Tablelands Region, bounded by Lake Tinaroo to the west and ranges to the north and east. Within the world-heritage-listed Wet Tropics, the locality features tropical rainforest, eucalypt forest and the shores of Lake Tinaroo. The Danbulla Forest Drive passes through ancient kauri pines and volcanic lakes.
