About Lake Barrine
Lake Barrine is a rural locality on the Atherton Tableland in far north Queensland, named after the freshwater crater lake at its heart. The lake, protected within Crater Lakes National Park, is a volcanic crater lake reaching 65 metres in depth and accessible via the Gillies Highway.
