About Cullinane

Cullinane is a rural locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Far North Queensland, situated approximately 1.7 kilometres north of Innisfail. The locality was named in August 1996 after pioneer farmer Michael Cullinane, and is bounded by the North Coast railway line to the west and the Johnstone River to the east. The land is flat and low-lying, with suburban housing in the east and sugarcane farming dominating the remainder.
