About Anstead

Anstead is an outer western suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, located 21 kilometres south-west of the CBD. Named after timber getter and quarry master John Anstead, the semi-rural suburb features acreage properties bordered by the Brisbane River and Moggill Conservation Park. It is home to the Anstead Bushland Reserve and Sugars' Quarry, a heritage-listed site.
