About Macgregor (Qld)
MacGregor is a southern suburb of Brisbane located about 13 kilometres from the CBD, named in 1967 after Sir William MacGregor, a former Governor of Queensland. The suburb adjoins the Garden City shopping precinct and is close to Griffith University, with D.M. Henderson Park and Bulimba Creek providing green spaces. It is known for its multicultural community and convenient access to the Pacific Motorway.
