About Eight Mile Plains
Eight Mile Plains takes its name from the flat terrain and eight-mile distance to Woolloongabba along Logan Road. Sitting at the junction of the Pacific and Gateway Motorways, it borders Sunnybank and Upper Mount Gravatt, with Bulimba Creek defining its western boundary. The suburb houses Brisbane Technology Park alongside heritage-listed Hughesville homestead and the Glen Hotel, one of Brisbane's oldest.
