About Aspley
Aspley is a residential suburb on predominantly flat ground straddling Cabbage Tree Creek and Little Cabbage Tree Creek, with low hills rising to the east and south. Originally a farming community, it was known for small farms, bone mills and a vineyard before booming as a garden suburb from the 1950s onward. It sits about 13 km north of the Brisbane CBD, bisected by Gympie Road and flanked by Chermside, Carseldine and McDowall.
