About Lutwyche
Lutwyche is a northern suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, located approximately 5.8 kilometres north of the central business district. Named after Alfred Lutwyche, the first Supreme Court judge of Queensland appointed in 1859, the suburb is traversed by the major thoroughfare Lutwyche Road and bounded to the north-west by Kedron Brook. St Andrew's Anglican Church, established in 1866 on land donated by Judge Lutwyche, is a prominent heritage landmark. The suburb features a blend of traditional Queenslander houses and modern apartments.
