About Lee Point
Lee Point is a coastal locality on a headland approximately 17 kilometres north of Darwin's CBD, forming the northern tip of the Casuarina Coastal Reserve. Known to the Larrakia people as Binybara, it features sandy beaches, tidal flats, mangrove communities and monsoon forest, and is part of an internationally significant migratory shorebird habitat with a WWII-era coastal defence bunker preserved along the cycling path.
