About Liddell

Liddell is a locality in the Singleton Council area of the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, near Muswellbrook. It once had its own post office, open from 1890 to 1931. The locality is best known for Liddell Power Station, commissioned in 1971 and one of Australia's most powerful coal-fired stations until it closed in 2023.
