About Howick (NSW)

Howick is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, about 24 km north-west of Singleton on the road to Muswellbrook. The rolling farmland hills host Howick, one of the oldest established coal mines in the region, worked since the late 1960s and now part of the Hunter Valley Operations.
