Lemington is a rural locality in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, about 24 kilometres north-west of Singleton. It is the site of part of the Hunter Valley Operations open-cut coal mining complex, which includes the former Lemington mine that began production in 1971 and was absorbed into the broader operations in 2001.
