About Warkworth
Warkworth is a rural locality in the Singleton Council area of the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. A post office opened there on 1 November 1863 and closed in 1968, and Warkworth Public School was established in 1859. The locality, which lies south of Singleton, is also home to the Hunter Valley Gliding Club.
