About Yantabulla
Yantabulla is a ghost town in far north-west New South Wales, near the border with Queensland in the Shire of Bourke. It sits on the traditional lands of the Paaruntyi people beside Yantabulla Swamp, a wetland recognised as an Important Bird Area. Once a prosperous stopover with hotels, a store, a school and a Cobb and Co changing station, little remains today beyond the historic cemetery.
