About Snowy Plain
Snowy Plain is a sparsely populated high-country grazing locality in the Snowy Monaro area of New South Wales, on the edge of Kosciuszko National Park beside the Gungarlin River, west of Lake Eucumbene near Berridale. The area retains a history of stockmen and mining, including the heritage-listed Daveys Hut, built in 1909 and the last building remaining at Snowy Plain.
