About Eucumbene
Eucumbene is a small locality in the Snowy Monaro region of New South Wales, overlooking Eucumbene Cove of Lake Eucumbene. The lake is the impoundment of Eucumbene Dam, a major component of the Snowy Mountains Scheme for hydro-electricity and irrigation. The locality was formerly known as Eucumbene Cove.
