About Jagungal Wilderness
Jagungal Wilderness is a large alpine wilderness region in the northern part of Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales. It is centred on Mount Jagungal, at 2,061 metres the northernmost two-thousand-metre peak in Australia, with wide snowgrass plains that make it a destination for alpine walking in summer and cross-country skiing in winter.
