About Sunshine West
Sunshine West is a residential and industrial suburb about 13 km west of Melbourne's central business district, in the City of Brimbank. It is bounded by Kororoit Creek to the east and the Western Ring Road to the west. Settlement began with the Sunshine Heights Estate in the 1920s, but most housing development came after the Second World War, with rapid growth continuing through the 1970s and 1980s.
