About Bulleen
Bulleen is a suburb of Melbourne about 13 km north-east of the city centre in the City of Manningham. Its name comes from the nearby Bolin Bolin Billabong and is generally accepted to mean lyrebird. The Yarra River forms the suburb's northern boundary, with parklands including Banksia Park and Yarra Flats Park, and the Heide Museum of Modern Art is located on the riverbank.
