About Konnongorring
Konnongorring is a small Wheatbelt locality in Western Australia, situated 25 kilometres north of Goomalling on the Northam-Pithara Road. Gazetted in 1897, its name derives from an Aboriginal word for a roasted bulbous root eaten by the Ballardong people, and the nearby Gabby Quoi Quoi lookout offers views over extensive native revegetation carried out by local farming families.
