About Walyormouring
Walyormouring is a rural locality in the Wongan-Ballidu Shire of the Wheat Belt region of Western Australia, located about 116 kilometres from Perth. The landscape features flat to gently rolling agricultural land typical of the Western Australian Wheat Belt, with broadacre cropping of wheat, barley, and oats as the primary industry. Developed after the gold mining decline around 1905, aided by superphosphate fertiliser and railway feeder-line construction, the area is part of a region producing about 40 percent of Australia's total wheat.
