Karranadgin is a small rural locality within the Shire of Goomalling in the Central Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, situated approximately 130 kilometres north-east of Perth. The broadacre farming country is devoted to cereal cropping — wheat, barley, canola and oats — alongside sheep grazing on large pastoral properties typical of the region. The nearby town of Goomalling, about 15 to 20 kilometres away, provides essential services including a supermarket, school and medical facilities, while Northam serves as the nearest significant regional centre roughly 45 kilometres to the south-west.
