About Inglehope
Inglehope is a rural locality of the Shire of Murray in the Peel region of Western Australia, located within the Dwellingup State Forest on the traditional land of the Pindjarup people of the Noongar nation. Inglehope was a stop on the Pinjarra to Narrogin railway, completed in 1926, though it was never a staffed station because the line's revenue came mainly from timber; the Dwellingup to Narrogin section closed in the early 1960s. The northern part of the locality lies within Alcoa's planned extension of the Huntly bauxite mine.
