About Dwellingup
Dwellingup is a small timber town in the Darling Range of south-west Western Australia, situated approximately 100 kilometres south-east of Perth in the Pinjarra region. The town was established in the early twentieth century to serve the timber industry, and the surrounding State forest supports jarrah and marri forests that have been the foundation of the local economy. Dwellingup today serves as a gateway to the Murray Valley region, with the forest trails and jarrah forests attracting bushwalkers and nature enthusiasts.
