About Trafalgar (WA)
Trafalgar is a locality in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, a few kilometres east of Boulder. It was a gold-rush townsite of the late 1890s, gazetted in 1899 as the Lake View Suburban Area, renamed Trafalgar in 1901 after London's Trafalgar Square, briefly reverted to Lake View in 1904, and restored to Trafalgar in 1923. Today it is largely abandoned goldfields country.
