About Victory Heights (WA)
Victory Heights is a residential suburb of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, close to the historic mining town of Boulder. It was established by the Boulder Municipal Council after the Second World War to ease a housing shortage, built on land previously used to house servicemen at RAAF Base Kalgoorlie. The suburb was officially opened in March 1947, its name having been chosen by local schoolchildren.
