About Boorara
Boorara is a small locality in the Goldfields region of Western Australia, roughly 17 km south-east of Kalgoorlie. Gazetted as a goldmining town in 1897, it was one of the early goldfields settlements east of Kalgoorlie, and open-cut mining resumed in the area in recent years.
