About Reedy
Reedy is an abandoned town in the Murchison region of Western Australia, located between Cue and Meekatharra. Gold was discovered in the area by H. Reed around 1899, and after renewed mining activity in the early 1930s the townsite was gazetted in 1934. The town was later abandoned, leaving ruins of its gold mining past.
