About Cane
Cane is a locality in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, in the Shire of Ashburton, near the Cane River. The river, named in 1866 by explorer Harry Venn after Charles Cane of his expedition, flows north-west through the Cane River Conservation Park and out to the Indian Ocean north-east of Onslow.
