About Baynton (WA)
Baynton is a residential suburb of Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, about 1,500 kilometres north of Perth. One of Karratha's established family suburbs, it is home to workers in the region's iron ore, LNG and resource industries, with detached housing filling the area between the town centre and the coast at Dampier. The suburb connects to the rest of the city via the Dampier Highway, and the town centre and Karratha Airport are a short drive away.
