About Parkwood (WA)
Parkwood is a southeastern suburb of Perth in the City of Canning, approximately 15 kilometres from the CBD. Gazetted as a separate suburb from Lynwood in 1993, it is known for its multicultural community and established residential character. The suburb contains Lynwood Senior High School and is adjacent to the Whaleback Golf Course, with the Riverton Forum shopping centre nearby.
