About Langford

Langford is a suburb in the City of Gosnells, Western Australia, located approximately 17 kilometres southeast of Perth's central business district. Established in 1967, it was named after William Henry Langford, a long-serving chairman of the Gosnells Road Board. Originally developed as public housing, the suburb underwent significant urban renewal from the late 1990s. Bordered by the Canning River to the north and served by Roe Highway and Albany Highway, Langford features the Langford Village Shopping Centre, a sporting complex, and the heritage-listed White House Reception Centre, an 1888 homestead.
