About Hamel
Hamel is a small town in the Peel region of Western Australia, located about 4 kilometres south of Waroona and 117 kilometres south of Perth along the South Western Highway. Established in the 1890s, the town was named after Lancel Victor de Hamel, a solicitor and politician who was Western Australia's first Opposition Leader.
