About Buckley Swamp
Buckley Swamp is a rural locality in the Southern Grampians Shire of Victoria, near Hamilton. It is named after the former Great Swamp, a large wetland on the volcanic plain that was drained in the late 1800s for agriculture. The area is used primarily for grazing and cropping.
